Sara Osberg was named vice president, consultant relations at Standard Life Investments, said company spokesman Scott Paer.
The position is new. Ms. Osberg will report to Deborah Drachman, head of U.S. consultant relations.
Ms. Osberg was a director at Gallatin Capital. John L. Youngblood, managing partner at Gallatin Capital, said the firm plans to fill Ms. Osberg’s role once it finds the right person for the position.
Standard Life Investments manages $373 billion in assets.
