Louisiana Parochial Employees' Retirement System, Baton Rouge, hired OFI Global Asset Management to run a $105 million active international large-cap equity portfolio, said Troy Searles, chief investment officer.
The $3.3 billion pension fund conducted an invitation-only search for a firm to replace Walter Scott & Partners, which ran a similar portfolio. Mr. Searles declined to give a reason for the change.
Investment consultant Segal Rogerscasey assisted. There were no other finalists.
