Andre Prawoto was named chief marketing officer at INTECH Investment Management, the quantitative equity unit of Janus Capital Group, said a spokeswoman in an e-mail.
It is a new position.
Mr. Prawoto will help the firm reach new investor segments and deepen existing client relationships. He will report to John Brown, executive vice president and head of global client development.
Previously, Mr. Prawoto was vice president, corporate strategy and development at American Century Investments. His responsibilities have been assumed by existing staff, an American Century spokesman said.
INTECH has $47.6 billion in assets under management.
