Clarence Williams was named managing director of institutional sales at Semper Capital Management, said CEO Greg Parsons in an e-mail.
The position is new. Mr. Williams will be responsible for overseeing sales to the firm’s institutional clients. He will be based in New York and report to Mr. Parsons.
Mr. Williams was a managing director at Mariner Investment Group. It could not be learned by press time if he was replaced; Mariner spokesman David Press could not be reached for comment.
