Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, Oklahoma City, invested or committed $28 million total to five managers on behalf of its endowment trust fund, spokeswoman Angela Caddell said in an e-mail.
In public equity, the regents hired Thompson, Siegel & Walmsley and Copper Rock Capital Partners to manage $6.5 million each.
Thompson, Siegel & Walmsley will manage an international small-cap strategy. Further information on Copper Rock Capital Partners’ strategy could not be learned by press time.
Funding will come from a reallocation within the portfolio and cash assets, Ms. Caddell wrote. She did not provide further information.
In alternatives, the regents committed $6 million to private equity manager K1 Investment Management, $5 million to real estate manager Rockpoint Group and $4 million to private equity manager The Column Group. Further information could not be learned by press time, including specific fund names.
The endowment trust fund has about $661 million in assets.
