University of Missouri System, Columbia, is searching for a custodian for its $3.1 billion defined benefit plan and $1.3 billion endowment pool, said Thomas F. Richards, treasurer and chief investment officer, in an e-mail.
The system issued an RFP as a routine measure “to assess service offerings and cost,” Mr. Richards said. Current custodian Bank of New York Mellon is invited to rebid.
The custodian would also serve the system’s short-term general pool and other post-employment benefits trust fund.
Proposals are due at 2 p.m. CDT on March 25. A decision is expected sometime in June, with a contract start date of Oct. 1.
The RFP is available on the system’s website.
