University of Leeds, England, is searching for a pension fund consultant to provide advice on long-term risk strategy, investment policy and governance.
A notice on the university’s procurement website said the consultant would also be expected to provide advice on pension fund benefits and design; financial valuation assumptions; advice on annual accounting; and on new legislation and other developments.
The size of the pension fund could not be learned by press time.
The notice added that advice will also be sought on developments in the Universities Superannuation Scheme, one of the principal pension funds for the University of Leeds’ staff.
The consultant will work with the university’s finance director and human resources director.
A separate notice filed with European procurement website Tenders Electronic Daily said proposals are due Jan. 18. A date for a hiring decision could not be learned by press time.
