The $20 billion San Francisco City & County Employees’ Retirement System committed up to $50 million to private equity firm Thoma Bravo Discover Fund, said Norm Nickens, board secretary.
The board made the commitment to the U.S. focused buyout fund that targets software investments in closed session at its Nov. 18 meeting.
An initial $35 million investment closed on Nov. 25.
