Walnut Creek, Calif., is searching for a bundled provider for its three defined contribution plans, said an RFP notice posted on the city's website.
The current provider is ICMA-RC. Whether the firm can rebid could not be learned by press time.
The city's 457, 401(a) and 3121 plans have combined assets of $61 million.
Consultant SST Benefits Consulting is assisting with the search.
The RFP notice is available on the city's website, which provides a user name and password and then directs interested firms to SST's website. Proposals are due on Jan. 13. Finalist interviews are scheduled for March 29, with a decision by the City Council scheduled for May 3.
Jeff Mohlenkamp, the city's administrative services director, could not be reached by press time.
