Lauren Dillard was named head of The Carlyle Group’s investment solutions group and member of the management committee, a news release said.
Ms. Dillard replaces Jacques Chappuis, who becomes a senior adviser to The Carlyle Group.
Ms. Dillard is currently chief operating officer and chief financial officer of investment solutions. The news release did not say what will happen to her current position. Elizabeth Gill, Carlyle spokeswoman, did not immediately return a phone call seeking further information.
Caryle, an alternatives money manager, has $188 billion in assets under management. The investment solutions group has $49 billion in AUM.
