Orange County Employees Retirement System, Santa Ana, Calif., is committing at least $75 million to a Westbrook Partners global value-added real estate fund, said Robert Kinsler, spokesman for the $12.3 billion pension fund in an e-mail.
The commitment follows a search launched in November.
Separately, the board is expected to consider a new policy at its Jan. 27 meeting that would require performance fee hurdles for its alternative investment managers “unless no viable alternative can be found for that manager's mandate,” according to a draft of the proposed policy for presented at the Dec. 16 meeting.
