The $288.1 billion California Public Employees’ Retirement System, Sacramento, committed an additional $54 million to a separate account that will co-invest alongside the Blackstone Tactical Opportunities Fund, said agenda material presented at the pension fund’s Monday investment committee.
The separate account managed by Blackstone Group is called KG Co-Invest. It originally committed $100 million in co-investments alongside the fund earlier in the year.
The tactical opportunities fund is a go-anywhere fund that can invest in a wide range of investments.
