Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) Police & Fire Retirement System committed a total of $11.5 million to be divided among three private equity funds managed by Invesco, said Fred Nesbitt, director of public information.
It is the $803 million pension fund’s first private equity commitment.
Funding will likely come from EnTrust Capital’s $37 million hedge fund-of-funds portfolio, Mr. Nesbitt said.
