Santa Barbara County (Calif.) Employees’ Retirement System is searching for a general investment consultant, said Lauren Thompson, retirement investment analyst, in an e-mail.
The $2.5 billion pension fund has issued an RFP because the contract of current consultant Meketa Investment Group expires in January 2017. The firm is invited to rebid.
Proposals are due at 5 p.m. PST on Jan. 19. Finalist interviews are tentatively scheduled for March 28 to April 1, with a board approval of the decision scheduled for May 4.
