Benoit Jacquemont was named senior investment director at Cambridge Associates, said a spokesman.
The position is new. Mr. Jacquemont’s appointment reflects growing demand for fiduciary management services. He advises the firm’s U.K. and European private and public pension fund clients on their liability-driven investments and ongoing risk management. He will focus on fiduciary management clients.
“At Cambridge, we are seeing a growing demand for fiduciary management, where pension trustees give us delegated authority to make decisions on a day-to-day basis,” said Alex Koriath, head of U.K. pensions practice, said a news release.
Mr. Jacquemont was previously a senior portfolio manager, responsible for the implementation of LDI strategies and tactical fixed-income overlays for fiduciary management clients at Cardano Risk Management, said the release. An executive at Cardano could not be reached for comment by press time.
