University System of Georgia, Atlanta, is searching for a general consultant for its 403(b) and 457 plans, said an RFP posted on the state's procurement website.
The system is seeking a consultant to assist in making the structure of the system's voluntary retirement plans more efficient, including consolidating the 60 system-wide plans and establishing a record-keeping structure and investment management structure.
Information on an incumbent consultant was not available.
The 403(b) and 457 plans have $1.2 billion in combined assets.
Proposals are due at 1 p.m. EST on Jan. 7. Finalist presentations are scheduled for Jan. 19-20, with a decision expected before the end of the month.
