Macon (Ga.) Fire & Police Department Employees’ Retirement System hired The Bogdahn Group as investment consultant, said Dale Walker, Macon-Bibb County manager.
The $220 million pension fund issued an RFP in May as a due diligence measure. Incumbent consultant Independent Portfolio Consultants rebid for the services.
Mr. Walker did not have finalist information.
The pension fund has been closed since Jan. 1, 2014, when the city of Macon and Bibb County consolidated their operations. Employees hired after that date are participants in the $150 million Macon-Bibb County Employees’ Retirement System.
