Ravi Sriskandarajah, managing director of BMO Global Asset Management's institutional sales in Australia, was promoted to head of the firm's Asia-Pacific operations.
Mr. Sriskandarajah replaces Amit Prakash in that role. A spokeswoman said Mr. Prakash will move to Toronto to take on a new global role as managing director, global exchange-traded funds and alternative investments.
As managing director and head of BMO Global Asset Management (Asia-Pacific), Mr. Sriskandarajah will relocate to Hong Kong from Sydney. A news release Wednesday said he'll report to Barry McInerney, co-CEO of BMO Global Asset Management, as well as Albert Yu, Asia CEO with parent BMO Financial Group.
Mr. McInerney said in the release a search will be launched to fill the institutional sales role in Australia.
