Glen Ellyn (Ill.) Police Pension Fund is searching for an investment consultant, said Lori Thomas, assistant finance director, in an e-mail.
The pension fund does not now have an investment consultant; its investment manager, Jay Co., acts “in lieu of a consultant,” Ms. Thomas wrote. Further details on the manager’s role could not be learned by press time.
Interested firms can contact Ms. Thomas for a copy of the RFP at [email protected]. Proposals are due by 3:30 CST on Jan. 15. There is no timeline for a hiring decision.
The $25 million pension fund has a target asset allocation of 50% U.S. bonds, 30% to 50% U.S. equities, 5% cash equivalents and zero to 10% international equities.
