Texas Employees Retirement System, Austin, committed a total of $83 million to two private investment funds in November, said a transaction report provided by investment staff of the $27.5 billion fund.
The pension fund committed $68 million to Stonepeak Infrastructure Fund II, a global value-added infrastructure fund managed by Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners.
It also committed $15 million to a Baring Private Equity Asia co-investment targeted to opportunistic private real estate in the Philippines, the transaction report showed. The co-investment is a companion investment to Baring Private Equity Asia Real Estate Fund.
