Fresno County (Calif.) Employees’ Retirement Association is searching for an auditor, said Donald Kendig, retirement administrator, in an e-mail.
The search is being conducted as a due diligence measure. Incumbent auditor Brown Armstrong is invited to rebid.
The RFP is expected to be posted on the pension fund’s website on Thursday. Proposals are due Jan. 6. A hiring decision is expected early next year.
Separately, the pension fund committed $34 million to Warburg Pincus Private Equity XII. The growth fund targets investments in energy, health care and financial services among other sectors.
