Arkansas Teacher Retirement System, Little Rock, is searching for a firm to provide investment due diligence and recommendations on Arkansas-related and other special opportunity investments, said a request for qualifications on the procurement website for the state’s department of finance and administration.
The selected firm will provide due diligence on a variety of investment opportunities including equity, debt, co-investments, private equity and special situations investments.
The RFQ is available on a state procurement website. Proposals are due by noon CST on Dec. 16. A timeline for a hiring decision was not disclosed. However, the contract is expected to begin March 1.
George Hopkins, executive director of the $14.3 billion pension fund, was not immediately available for additional information.
