Carrollton, Texas, is searching for a sole provider for its 401(a), 457, OBRA and retirement health savings plans, said Bob Scott, chief financial officer.
The scope of services includes administrative, record keeping, education, communication and investment-related services.
ICMA-RC and Nationwide Retirement Solutions now administer the 457 plan, which has roughly $77 million in assets. ICMA also administers the 401(a) plan and retirement health savings plans, which have $93,505 and $3.7 million in assets, respectively. Nationwide administers the OBRA plan, which has $760,388 in assets. ICMA and Nationwide are invited to rebid, Mr. Scott said.
The RFP is available on the city’s website. Proposals are due by 2 p.m. CST on Jan. 7. Finalist interviews are tentatively scheduled for April 6. A hiring decision is anticipated in early spring.
