Washoe County keeps MassMutual for record keeping

Washoe County Deferred Compensation Plans, Reno, Nev., rehired MassMutual Financial as record keeper, said Ashley Farmer, county benefits manager, in an e-mail.

The three plans, which have combined assets of $144 million, issued an RFP earlier this year because MassMutual’s contract was to expire Dec. 31.

The other finalist was Nationwide Financial. MassMutual’s new five-year contract begins on Jan. 1.

Investment consultant Bidart & Ross assisted.
