Contra Costa County Employees' Retirement Association, Concord, Calif., is searching for a deputy CEO, said CEO Gail Strohl.
Kurt Schneider, the previous deputy CEO, left the $7.1 billion pension fund on Sept. 28. Ms. Strohl did not know Mr. Schneider's destination, and he could not be reached by press time.
