The TJX Cos. Inc., Framingham, Mass., hired Vanguard Group as record keeper of its 401(k)/profit-sharing plan, said its recently released Form 5500 filing.
Vanguard will replace Empower Retirement. A reason for the change was not given.
A blackout period for participants will begin at 1 p.m. EST Dec. 14 and end during the week of Jan. 11, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
As of Dec. 31, the TJX General Savings/Profit Sharing Plan had $1.3 billion in assets, according to the Form 5500 filing.
