Davie (Fla.) Police Pension Plan is searching for one or two domestic small-cap equity managers to run a total of $13 million, said William E. Dahab, principal and director of research at Dahab Associates, the $130 million pension fund’s investment consultant.
The pension fund is seeking either a single manager or two managers to split the allocation, and is considering core, growth or value strategies.
The pension fund’s current small-cap equity manager is Aston Asset Management. Mr. Dahab had no further information on the reason for the search.
The RFP is available on Dahab’s website. Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EST Dec. 11. A timetable for a decision has yet to be determined.
