Fort Bend Independent School District, Sugar Land, Texas, is searching for a third-party administrator for its three retirement plans, said an RFP on the school district’s purchasing website.
The plans are an $11.9 million 457(b) plan, a frozen $14.1 million 401(a) and a 457/3121 FICA alternative plan.
The reason for the search, whether incumbent JEM Resource Partners can rebid and an asset size for the FICA plan, could not be learned by press time.
The RFP is available on the school district’s purchasing website. Registration is required.
Proposals are due by 10 a.m. CST on Dec. 8. A hiring decision is expected in February.
A purchasing official and benefits official could not immediately be reached for additional information.
