Among private infrastructure funds currently raising or those with a 2014/2015 vintage, 37% charge a management fee of 2%. That figure is down significantly from 2012/2013 vintage funds when 61% charged a management fee of 2% or more.
Data from Preqin released Wednesday also show the median management fee for the most recent funds (2015) is 1.5%, down from 1.75% for 2014 funds and down from 2% for both 2013 and 2012 vintage funds.
