Katy Perry headlined a party thrown by Ken Griffin earlier this month.
Mr. Griffin, founder and CEO of Citadel, threw the uber-private party for 1,500 guests to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the hedge fund manager.
It's the first of three big bashes to mark the anniversary, and Mr. Griffin is going all out for each one. The Nov. 7 event was held at Cinespace Chicago. Mr. Griffin is planning another party in New York, where it is rumored Maroon 5 will perform, and then there will be a bash in London. That headliner is still a secret.
Ms. Perry performed for 70 minutes. Even “Left Shark” made a cameo. That's the backup dancer who first made waves during Ms. Perry's Super Bowl halftime show.
