Howard County, Columbia, Md., is searching for a single third-party administrator for the county’s $145 million 457 plan and school system’s $17 million 457 plan, said a senior buyer in the county’s purchasing office.
The search is being conducted due to the April 30 contract expiration of incumbent provider Nationwide Retirement Solutions. Nationwide is invited to rebid.
The RFP is available from the county’s website. Proposals are due by 11 a.m. EST on Dec. 9. A hiring decision is expected before Nationwide’s contract expires.
