Maryland-National Capital Park & Planning Commission Employees' Retirement System, Riverdale, Md., plans to search for an investment consultant in early 2016, recently released board meeting minutes said.
The $847 million pension fund will issue an RFP early in the year because its current contract with Wilshire Associates is expiring on June 30. The pension fund's board has a policy that requires rebidding consulting services at least once every five years. Whether the firm can rebid could not be learned by press time.
Separately, the pension fund approved hiring Carlyle Group to run a $30 million private real assets strategy. Wilshire conducted an invitation-only search and the other finalist was Grosvenor Capital Management. Further information could not be learned by press time.
Andrea L. Rose, administrator, could not be reached by press time.
