Connecticut Retirement Plans & Trust Funds, Hartford, committed $100 million to Crow Holdings Realty Partners VII, said Denise Nappier, state treasurer and principal fiduciary for the $29.6 billion state pension system, in an e-mail.
The commitment was announced at the state’s investment advisory council meeting Tuesday. Crow Holdings Realty Partners VII is a value-added real estate fund managed by Crow Holdings Capital Partners focused on acquiring, renovating, redeveloping or repositioning core and non-core U.S. real estate properties.
The investment is contingent upon successful negotiation of the contract terms and partnership documents.
