Third-party assets at Allianz Group, Allianz’s money management unit, decreased 4.6% to €1.26 trillion ($1.42 trillion) for the quarter ended Sept. 30 and dropped 10.6% from the end of the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2014, despite slower net outflows.
Total assets under management at Allianz declined 3.31% to €1.75 trillion.
Total net outflows from third-party clients in the third quarter were €14.8 billion, down from €22.5 billion of net outflows the previous quarter and down from €47.4 billion in the third quarter of 2014.
Third-party assets for Pacific Investment Management Co. declined 4.37% to €985 billion in the quarter, with net outflows totaling €16 billion, compared to €29.3 billion in net outflows in the prior quarter and €49.2 billion in the third quarter of 2014.
PIMCO’s assets under management declined 15.09% for the year ended Sept. 30.
Third-party assets for Allianz Global Investors decreased 6.16% for the three months ended Sept. 30 to €274 billion, despite €1.3 billion in net inflows. The third quarter marked the 11th consecutive quarter of third-party net inflows for AllianzGI, although lower than the €6.7 billion posted in the previous quarter.
