Mark J.A. Snyder, an executive vice president at State Street and head of the bank's global markets sales and trading and research division, will retire at the end of the year, spokesman Brendan Paul said.
Mr. Snyder is responsible for overseeing State Street's activities in foreign exchange, multiasset strategy research services and investment research services.
Tony Bisegna, executive vice president and global head of foreign exchange, will assume Mr. Snyder's responsibilities. Mr. Bisegna will continue to serve as global head of foreign exchange after taking on Mr. Snyder's duties.
