Anthony Wainer joined credit specialist CQS in its London office as portfolio manager for European high-yield strategies on Monday.
Mr. Wainer’s job is new, part of an expansion of CQS’s investment team, said Michael Rummel, spokesman.
Mr. Wainer was most recently a portfolio manager and credit trader in Moore Capital Management’s London office. Sharron Silver, a Moore Capital spokeswoman, did not return a call seeking information about Mr. Wainer’s replacement there.
CQS manages $13 billion in multistrategy and credit hedge funds as well as long-only credit strategies.
