Gillian Evans was named senior vice president and head of U.K. institutional distribution at Macquarie Investment Management, a spokeswoman said.
It is a new position. Ms. Evans, who is based in London, reports to Steve Haswell, head of distribution for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Ms. Evans was previously an executive director in the U.K. institutional sales business at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. A Goldman Sachs spokesman declined comment.
Macquarie has $370 billion in assets under management.
