Oakland County Retirement and Deferred Compensation Board, Waterford, Mich., hired NEPC as investment consultant for its $800 million defined benefit plan.
NEPC’s contract begins Jan. 1, 2016, said Judy D. Fandale, retirement administrator, in an e-mail. The contract will last for three to five years.
NEPC will replace Asset Consulting Group.
Separately, Ms. Fandale said Oakland County is negotiating a contract with Walton Street Capital to manage $15 million in opportunistic real estate.
