State-Boston Retirement System hired Aristotle Capital Management and Bernzott Capital Advisors to each manage about $75 million in domestic small-cap equities, and rehired Westfield Capital Management to continue running about $100 million in domestic small-cap equity for the $4.1 billion defined benefit plan, said John Kelly, pension fund investment analyst.
The RFP was issued in June. Boston Co. Asset Management and Westfield Capital were the managers prior to the search. Segall Bryant & Hamill was the other finalist.
State-Boston Retirement System’s investment consultant, NEPC, assisted with the search.
