Ohio School Employees Retirement System, Columbus, is searching for an active domestic large-cap value equity manager to run $125 million, spokesman Tim Barbour said in an e-mail.
The $12.2 billion pension fund is seeking an active, long-only manager to complement existing domestic equity managers. Funding will come from rebalancing.
As of Aug. 31, the pension fund's actual allocation to domestic equity was 21.8%. The pension fund's target is 22.5%.
The RFP is available on the pension fund's website. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. EST on Nov. 30. Finalist presentations are tentatively scheduled for January, with a decision expected in February.
