Carrollton, Texas, hired Hyas Group to assist with its search for and transition to a consolidated 457 plan provider, said Bob Scott, chief financial officer.
The plan, which has roughly $86 million, is currently administered by ICMA-RC and Nationwide Retirement Solutions.
An RFP for a plan consolidation consultant was issued in June.
The release date for the provider RFP has not been determined. Once approved, it will be available on the city’s purchasing website.
Both Nationwide and ICMA-RC will be invited to rebid. A hiring decision is expected early next year, Mr. Scott said.
