Arnaud Cosserat was named CEO at Comgest, effective March 1, in addition to his roles as chief investment officer and portfolio manager.
Mr. Cosserat will replace Vincent Strauss, who is retiring from his executive and portfolio management roles to join the supervisory committee of Comgest, said a news release Thursday. He will remain a shareholder of the firm.
Mr. Cosserat joined Comgest in 1996, and was appointed chief investment officer in January.
The money management firm has €21.6 billion ($24.5 billion) in assets under management.
Spokesmen for Comgest could not be reached for comment by press time.
