Jay Martin was named managing director and head of North American custody and fund services at Citigroup.
The position is new, said Nina Das, Citigroup spokeswoman, in an e-mail.
Mr. Martin was North America head of investor services operations and global head of alternative investments and wealth management operations. Information on his replacement could not be learned by press time.
Mr. Martin will report to Sanjiv Sawhney, managing director and global head of custody and fund services, and Shahmir Khaliq, managing director and head of North American investor services.
Also, Dominic Crowe was named global head of product development and strategy for custody and fund services at Citigroup, and Bill Pryor was named global head of data and analytics for custody and fund services.
Messrs. Crowe and Pryor are both managing directors, and their positions are new, Ms. Das said. Both will report to Mr. Sawhney.
Mr. Crowe was global head of client services delivery for structured products at Bank of New York Mellon. Joe Ailinger, BNY Mellon spokesman, could not be reached by press time for information on Mr. Crowe's replacement.
Mr. Pryor was managing director and global head of investment information services at J.P. Morgan Chase. Amanda Smith, J.P. Morgan Chase spokeswoman, said the company would not comment.
