Maine Public Employees Retirement System, Augusta, made two new commitments totaling up to $180 million, said Andrew Sawyer, chief investment officer, in an e-mail.
The $11.9 billion pension fund committed up to $150 million to Stonepeak Infrastructure Fund II and up to $30 million to Rubenstein Properties Fund III, a value-added real estate fund.
It is the first time the pension fund has made commitments to funds managed by Stonepeak Infrastructure Partners and Rubenstein Partners.
