Nebraska Public Employees Retirement System, Lincoln, is searching for a record keeper for the state's four defined contribution plans, said Phyllis Chambers, director.
The current record keeper is Ameritas; Ms. Chambers would not provide further information.
The defined contribution plans are the Nebraska State and County Defined Contribution Retirement Plan, Nebraska State and County Cash Balance Retirement Plan, State Patrol Deferred Retirement Option Plan and the Nebraska 457 Deferred Compensation Plan. The plans have combined assets of $2.7 billion.
Proposals are due at 2 p.m. CST on Dec. 29. A decision is expected on March 1, with a contract start date of May 1.
