Chatham County Employee Retirement Plan, Savannah, Ga., is searching for a core real estate manager and core-plus real estate manager to run $6 million each, said William E. Dahab, principal and director of research at Dahab Associates, the $206 million pension fund’s investment consultant.
It is a new allocation for the fund, Mr. Dahab said. Funding could come from the potential elimination of the pension fund’s allocation to Treasury inflation-protected securities. The pension fund’s TIPS manager is Richmond Capital Management.
Proposals are due at 5 p.m. EST on Nov. 3. A timetable for a decision has yet to be determined.
The RFP is available on Dahab’s website.
Amy Davis, the county’s finance director, did not respond to requests for further information by press time.
