University of Pennsylvania topped the list of U.S. schools that feed talent into the money management industry, according to data analytics firm eVestment LLC's “2015 eVestment Education Report.”
eVestment used data from money managers about the educational backgrounds and industry tenure of their key professionals to rank the top U.S. universities and liberal arts colleges overall and weighted for school size.
University of Pennsylvania ranked first on the overall list by total number of alumni working as key professionals at money management firms, followed by Harvard University, Columbia University, University of Chicago and New York University.
When weighted by school size, the top five are University of Chicago, Dartmouth College, University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University and Harvard University.
The report, which is available on eVestment's website, also includes rankings for key U.S. markets, specific job titles, specific investment segments and more.
