Anthony Ho joined Amundi Asset Management in Hong Kong as chief investment officer, Asia ex-Japan equities, and deputy CEO of Amundi Hong Kong, spokesman Patrick Tissot-Favre said.
Mr. Ho replaces Ayaz Ebrahim in both positions. Mr. Ebrahim joined J.P. Morgan Asset Management in Hong Kong as a senior portfolio manager on the firm's emerging markets and Asia-Pacific equities team, a JPMAM spokesman said.
Mr. Ho will report to Xiaofeng Zhong, CEO of Amundi Hong Kong, and Romain Boscher, Amundi's global head of equities, an Amundi news release said.
Mr. Ho was CEO of CIFM Asset Management (Hong Kong) — a subsidiary of Shanghai-based China International Fund Management Co., a joint venture between Shanghai International Trust Co. and J.P. Morgan Asset Management (U.K.). A spokeswoman for CIFM in Hong Kong said Gerald Yeung, the firm's chief administrative officer, will assume the CEO role as well.
