Swampscott (Mass.) Contributory Retirement System is searching for a custodian.
The search is being conducted because the plan’s contract with its current custodian, State Street, is set to expire later this year, said Jeanne Darcy, retirement administrator. State Street is expected to rebid.
Fiduciary Investment Advisors, investment consultant to the $46 million pension fund, is assisting with the search.
The RFP is available from Maura Goulart, director of client services at Fiduciary Investment Advisors, via e-mail at [email protected]. Proposals are due by 4 p.m. EDT on Oct. 26. Ms. Goulart said she expects the board to make a decision either late in the fourth quarter or early in the first quarter.
