New Hampshire Retirement System, Concord, made two new alternatives commitments totaling $95 million, spokesman Marty Karlon said.
The $7.5 billion pension fund committed $75 million to Warburg Pincus Private Equity XII, a growth fund that invests in health care, industry, technology and energy. It is a first-time commitment to a Warburg Pincus fund for the pension fund.
Also, the pension fund committed $20 million to Industry Ventures Partnership Holdings IV, a venture capital fund of funds. The pension fund previously committed $20 million each to Industry Ventures Partnership Holdings III and Industry Ventures Secondary Fund VII in September 2013.
